Visit

First Time Visit?

You may have visited several churches looking for community, fellowship, or a place to explore spirituality.  We hope you find what you’re looking for here, but even if you just come in and say hello, we both will have been better for it.

We’re simply thrilled you’re considering a visit!

Here’s What to Expect at Sunday Worship

Our  worship services take place every Sunday morning from mid-September through mid-June at 10:00am.  During the summer months, Fisherman Services begin at 8am on the patio, weather permitting.

We begin each Sunday service in our beautiful Sanctuary, all ages together. Our service is about one hour in length and features music, singing, readings, and a sermon.  All ages gather together for the first 15 minutes of every service before the children are escorted to their Religious Education activities.  Each service is very different from the last with varied topics and formats.  We encourage newcomers to attend a few services to experience the rich diversity of our faith community.   Consult our Weekly Services page for specific sermon topics and times.

Should you decide to visit, we invite you to introduce yourself as a visitor during the service, but this is entirely optional.

When You Arrive

You’ll find one of our friendly greeters, at both the front and rear entrances, who is available to answer any questions you may have and direct you to the Sanctuary or classrooms if you have children participating in youth programs.

Children, Youth Programs & Nursery Care

If you are planning to bring a child to participate in our Sunday youth programs, please allow yourself a little extra time to navigate and fill out a youth guest registration form.  Our greeters can assist you in locating our classrooms on the lower level, where you can also meet our Religious Education Director.

Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available. Some families with infants prefer to keep their babies with them through the adult service, and some choose to listen to the service from the parlor.  Children who stay with parents throughout the adult service, do not need to be registered to visit.

Learning’s not just for the kids.

Our religious education curriculum spans all ages from pre-school to high school, to adult learning.  We nurture spiritual growth with an emphasis on social and ethical responsibility.

Greetings from Our Minister

I hope that what you find here will encourage you to visit us for Sunday services and to participate in the life of this warm and vibrant faith community.

May you discover here the spiritual home you have been seeking. Blessings on your journey at First Parish Church!
